Corey Verostick

Doctor of Physical Therapy

Dr. Corey Verostick has been practicing physical therapy since 2008, when he graduated with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from St. Francis University in Loretto, PA. He then went on to complete a fellowship program to become a Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Therapy Institute in San Marcos, TX. Dr. Verostick has worked as a staff therapist, clinical director, clinical educator and mentor in Texas and Florida.

He is one of ONLY 16 Fellows in orthopedic and manual therapy in the state of Utah. Becoming a Fellow, required two years of course work and a year of “hands-on” clinical mentoring. Dr. Verostick focuses on finding “the cause of the cause” of a patient’s pain or injury in order to expedite their recovery through more precise manual therapy, muscle coordination, and functional training. He also believes in using a team approach to working on the overall health of patients; and patients can benefit from holistic and integrative care that addresses the entirety of the mind, body, and soul. His deep passion for helping heal others is rooted in his strong Christian faith and belief in having strong character, integrity, and consistency.

Dr. Verostick is passionate about clinical education and teaching students. He has been mentoring students wince his second year out of school, including Fellows-in-Training. He believes that education is a pinnacle of the health profession. Teaching no only helps improve the doctors of tomorrow, but also hones one’s own skill at the same time creating an overall better treatment for patients.

In his leisure time, Corey enjoys carpentry, hiking, skiing, golfing, competitive shooting, and sports. He married his amazing wife, Dr. Kirsten Verostick PhD, in 2009; and they have two beautiful, joyfilled, and energetic boys, Lukas and Kendry.
