Sydney Friesen

Doctor of Physical Therapy

Sydney has been working in the PT world for 8 years, starting as an aide before going on to get her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Through working as an aide, she appreciated the amount of time physical therapists are able to spend with their patients and the role they play in helping them maintain their quality of life.

She completed her undergraduate education at the University of Utah studying sociology and psychology. She went on to become an anatomy teaching assistant where her passion for the human body and teaching others grew. She completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.

Sydney is passionate about working with patients with vestibular/balance disorders as well as helping older adults accomplish their functional goals. She is a strong believer in educating patients so they understand their condition and the rehab process. She is also passionate about helping patients with Parkinson’s Disease stay active and is a Parkinson Wellness Recovery (PWR!) certified therapist.

Sydney lives in Murray with her fiancé, Jake, and their dog Loki. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, painting, weight lifting, being outside, caring for her houseplant collection and playing her mandolin. Most importantly, she looks forward to celebrating successes with her patients.
