Brad Powell

Founder, CEO and Doctor of Physical Therapy

Brad Powell grew up in Lehi, Utah where his family owned a garage door business. Brad worked for his family business on construction sites at a very young age. Along the way, he found a love for racing motocross, where he suffered many injuries. During his teenage years, he also played football, learning the art of teamwork and discipline.

Brad was fortunate enough to go through many bouts of physical therapy in order to return back to competitive level of racing motocross. During one particular injury where he broke his leg and had compartment syndrome, he was told there was a good chance he would never walk again. He worked relentlessly with multiple physical therapists and beat all the odds, returning to high level motocross racing once more.

He graduated from Lehi High school in 2008 and served a mission in Mississippi for his church. He returned and pursued many certifications in leadership at Utah Valley University and graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor’s in Communications and a minor in Leadership Studies. During his time as an undergraduate at the University of Utah, he was awarded the “campus making a difference” award for developing the first boxing program in the state of Utah for those with neurodegenerative diseases. He was also heavily involved in research for physical therapy. In his spare time, he ran his own painting company, where he learned the art of communication and the importance of an outstanding customer experience.

He went on to graduate school at the University of Utah, receiving his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. During this time, he was instrumental in establishing many wellness programs, including tai chi, yoga, barre, dance, and boxing programs for those with neurological disorders.

During his time in graduate school, he developed a deep love for serving those around him and helping them move with confidence. He witnessed first-hand, through many clinical hours, how pain limits peoples’ ability to truly live and thrive in their lives. He found great mentors who helped him see the limitations within the healthcare profession and how to build bridges to give his patients the absolute best care they deserve.

Brad went on to work in a hospital setting where he worked in acute care, rehab, ICU, covid unit, plus medical and outpatient therapy, where he learned the entire continuum of physical therapy. During this time, he worked relentlessly with colleagues to build a start-up clinic, which is now thriving and well known in the community.

Brad is married to the love of his life, Lexi, and they have 3 children. He believes we should not just exist in the world, but truly live. He understands in order to truly live, you have to put your family at the center of your life. His wife and children are the driving factors to serve as many people as he possibly can. He believes you should always give more than what you receive.
